MY BIO
I received my BSW degree from Buffalo State College and my MSW degree at the University of Albany Graduate School in 1986. I obtained my LSWCR certification in 1992 as a qualification for insurance reimbursement.
I worked in inpatient and outpatient treatment programs in public and private settings with specialization in mental health and developmental disabilities.
My clinical orientation to therapy is psychodynamic, which includes client centered and solution focused therapy working with children and adults age ranging from 10 years old to senior adults.
My services include: Assessment, Individual counseling/Therapy, Counseling/Therapy for Parent Child communication stressors, Couples Counseling/Therapy, Family Counseling/Therapy, Coaching to facilitate a more effective argument style for more positive outcomes in communication.
The conditions I work with include Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Depression, Mental health disorders, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and spectrum disorders including Add/ADHD with children.
